@RemyBrittany The love continues even after you are a student! If you visit, be sure and set it up through the Honors College. They will plan the day out for you and it is an excellent introduction to campus. I also recommend the Stem MBA program. My son loves it.
@FamilyofFive Thanks for the info and advice. Good idea to go through the honors college! Glad your son is doing well there!
Does anyone know when the Foundation fellowship information goes out?
@busyybee The forum from last year showed that the scores came out Wednesday, January 14 so I’m hoping this year’s will come out next Wednesday.
Does anyone know- for those not being offered the FF, will they still be notified of the decision? I really hope that is the case, because if not, tons of kids will be waiting at their mailboxes for weeks thinking the decision just came late or got lost.
@Abwee67 From my understanding of last year’s FF discussion forum, decisions, both invitations and denies, were emailed out to applicants.
Remember for honors auto admit that they only consider sub scores for Math and Reading. Last year my d’s ACT was 34, but her sub scores total was 32.5. ( her perfect 36’s were not included) So she did not get auto admit in the first round. We were surprised. She did however get admitted via her FF application a few weeks later and did not need to apply.
Even if you do not get accepted to the program you can still apply in the first semester. 15hrs and a 3.5 GPA are the requirements.
@Sally22 You said that your daughter was admitted through her FF application. Did she find out that she was admitted to honors before or after FF finalist invites were sent out? Also, how was she notified? Email or a mailed letter? Thank you!
@Sally22 you mentioned that your daughter was admitted to honors through her FF application. Did she end up interviewing for the FF?
She received an email letting her know she was not selected for the Fellowship interview weekend, but offering her the Woodruff scholarship and admittance into Honors. She later received a hard copy of the offer.
She also went onto apply and receive the CURO scholarship. For those disappointed they did not get the Fellowship have a look at CURO.

Applications due Feb1
@Sally22 Thanks for the info!
Is the honors program harder or easier than regular undergrad? I have heard that it is easier since they dont try to weed you out. Also , Would you recommend it? I am planning to be a doctor and I know that med schools place importance on GPA, so Im worried about the difficulty of honors.

Has anyone from California received their letter?
