UGA Honors vs UNC CH Honors

I am completely unable to make my final choice.
I got into the Honors Program at UGA and qualify for HOPE. I was offered a full ride to UNC Chapel Hill as a Carolina Scholar and was also invited to be a part of the Honors program there. Which one do I choose?
I know that the obvious choice for some would be Chapel Hill, but the CURO (Center for Undergraduate REsearch) program at UGA is pretty comprehensive and the Honors Program is well respected. I just don't want to make the wrong choice :/

What do you want to major in?
Career?
For most majors I think you would want to go with UNC.

I’m thinking about eventually pursuing either journalism or law. Obviously, if I go the law route, I can major in pretty much anything as an undergrad.

UNC and UGA are nowhere close to each other. Even Georgia Tech rejects hesitate to go to University of Georgia. Who cares about CURO ? You already got a full ride to UNC-CH a top world class public university in US.

UNC-CH honors is 10x better than University of Georgia honors. Please do not fall for the CURO or whatever gimmick.

I can vouch for UGA, the Honors Program, AND CURO! I guarantee you that it is not a gimmick. Check out CURO’s website and the Honors Program website to learn more if you’re interested ([CURO | Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities](http://curo.uga.edu/) and About - UGA Morehead Honors College).

Hopeful125 - if you need some help deciding whether or not CURO/Honors at UGA would help you get to where you want to go, don’t hesitate to call our Recruitment and Enrollment Office (706-542-1651) or our CURO office (706-542-4053)! They would be happy to hook you up with current students/professors so that you can work through this decision. I’m sure you could also do the same with UNC-CH. Call their Honors Program to speak with a counselor so that informed individuals from both schools/programs can help you make your decision.

And congrats on your acceptance/scholarships at both schools!!! You should be very proud. I hope this helped.

Chelsea

Definitely a full ride to UNC Chapel Hill. Congratulations on the great acceptances.

Thanks for the input guys!
Chelsea, my sister was in both the honors program and CURO at UGA, so I definitely recognize the benefits it has to offer. Thank you so much for the additional information and the advice!
I’m planning to visit UNC one more time to try and determine if it’s a good fit for me!
