UGA or GT?

I'm deciding between UGA and Georgia Tech as an undergrad business major. Because I am in-state, the tuition will be pretty much the same for both colleges.

At GT, I would get a BS in Management with a concentration in Marketing, while I would get a BBA in Marketing at UGA. GT is more nationally and internationally recognized, is located in Atlanta, and has a great co-op program that would make it much easier to gain experience and later a job. On the other hand, Tech is a TECH school - geared almost completely towards engineering. The fact that it's reputed lies in its technology/math/science strengths. Management majors are looked down upon.
UGA does have a good internship database, but I worry it would not have as much potential as GT's considering location. UGA is much more social and lively than Tech, and much more suited to my personality. However, I worry about the lack of interaction between different types of people. I missed the Honor's application deadline, but if I go, I will transfer in after the first year. I could exempt out of almost 30 hours of classes and still keep a great GPA, which is near impossible at Tech.

So, I would have a great experience at college at UGA. I would be set for a job at Tech.
Grad school is what really counts, but job experience weighs heavily on getting into a great business grad program.

PLEASE help me decide, I'm completely torn.

Funny thing is, UGA is known for its business, but GT’s B-school is higher ranked.

I say go with UGA, but you’ll see under my screen name why I’ve made that suggestion :D

Can you find a friend on each campus to host you for a couple of nights each so that you can sample typical life in each place?

I’ve visited both this week, and talked to a few of the people there that I’ve known for a while.
GT impressed me in terms of my comfort level despite really bad weather, and I’ve always liked the fact that UGA has a large, spread out campus that you can explore.
The dorms are essentially the same size; GT’s are maybe a foot longer but much older.

GT is entirely wireless, UGA is not but has sufficient (albeit slow and sometimes unreliable) internet service.

The main problem is, I can see myself at both…

Bump post…

i’m going to find myself in the same position you are in right now in a years time…so BUMP

well they’ve obviously decided by now lol.

Georgia Tech.
