Anyway, I accepted the offer to stay on the waitlist but i never got an email confirmation that says i will remain on the waitlist. did i mess up on my email address or does uga not send you an email?

anyone know how big the waitlist will be this year??
any insight or thoughts about how many they might accept off of the list?

I got waitlisted as well
I confirmed to be on the waitlist and got an email. If I were you, I’d check back on your account on UGA’s website and look at your status and see if it says you accepted to be waitlisted.
The waitlist had 500 people last year, and I think almost 200 got in ? I think I read that somewhere. So idk about this year.
I applied early, was deferred, reapplied, and now waitlisted ? I’ll be really mad if they don’t accept me. That’s just stupid.

Did your status page update? Mine did not.
Also, the voice mail boxes are all full at the admissions office, so I haven’t left a message.
I did receive an email confirming waitlist (I think), but it was mostly garbled, with only the email header intact.

Waitlist chances are very small and I’m sure they go by who the best of the best on the waitlist which means the highest stats will get in before the lower stats people. It also depends on how much people actually end up going to UGA.

Chances usually fall somewhere between 10-30% chance of gaining admission on the waitlist and will vary depending on how much people actually submit deposits. I wouldnt bet on it if your stats werent high in the first place, but made the waitlist. I would start looking at the plan B immmediately.
