Ugh I am an anomaly. Question.

I am using common app.

I went ahead and talked about my FAVORITE class for topic of your choice

THen for essay 2 in the supplement I talked about the class that was most rewarding or showed your future. It was not my favorite class though. Is this fine?

well, did it have an influence on you?

Of course it's fine -- favorite class does not always mean most rewarding. In usual cases -- most rewarding would mean learning the most in that class, aka getting the best educational value.

As long as both essays show something deep and meaningful about you/your life -- all will be well. Also -- avoid redundancy at all costs.

^Thanks.

And yes both had an influence. One was more fun though. One was more rewarding.

As I have said before...
