<p>Could be. Still, for those who started getting schizophrenic symptoms after taking pot, one has to wonder if they don’t regret that.</p>
<p>If they legalize it, they will likely set a minimum age for it, just like alcohol. So it’s gonna be illegal for HS students regardless. </p>

Even if some do develop schizophrenic symptoms, it’s no worse than cigarettes or alcohol. Also, the war on this drug has been a complete failure. Millions of dollars have been wasted on enforcement that does nothing other than throwing people into jails. The criminal record destroys their futures and eventually turn some of them into real criminals because they they can’t find work with the criminal record and have no where else to go. Anyone who wants it can easily find a way to get it anyway, provided he/she is willing to pay the high price of the black market, for which gangs resort to violence to get as much control as they can. Legalization is the less bad option. You need to look at the big picture.</p>
