Ugh, I'm in a fix here.

Okay, I'm a college-bound senior. The thing is, I will most likely go back to Korea and have a medical there. If you are a Korean, you would know that Koreans are all about name. If you graduated from Harvard, you are in. So, I would much prefer that I get into a school which everyone will recognize by name. (Ex. HYP, MIT, JHU, maybe some of the non-HYP Ivies) Obviously, though, I can't just go to those schools as I wish. If I were planning to have a career in the US, there are so many different schools I could go to, like WashU in StL, or I could even go to a decent school for undergrad then aim big for nice grad schools. So what is your suggestion? Should I take on the overwhelming gamble of applying the the name-brand schools, or should I be realistic and risk being looked down upon by Korean employers/colleagues?

Whatever you do, you better get started soon considering you only have like a week left to apply to all these schools.

Haha, right on, andy.
What do you mean by a medical?
Apply to the big name schools if you've got the stats, if you would really like to go there, and if money's not a problem.
