<p>Well, I actually made TWO mistakes, and I am completely FREAKING OUT! I promised myself that I wouldn't go back and read my essays after they were submitted because even if I saw an error I wouldn't be able to fix it. WELL, I was just so happy with one of my essays (the Tufts optional), that I wanted to read it to my grandmother, and much to my dismay...... MISTAKES! I left out a comma, but I'm relatively okay with that since it was more of a stylistic preference rather than a necessity. However, I wrote "effected" instead of "Affected"! I know why it happened too; I wrote that something "had an effect" on me, but then I changed it to, "effected me" in an attempt to cut down on the number of words in my essay! I must have forgotten to chance over the e to an a. Do you think that they'll notice that? I did (it jumped out at me as if it were highlighted, circled in red, and written in size 30 font), but then again I'm a grammar wh*re, so......</p>
<p>Do you think that they will think I'm stupid or just that I made a careless error? That sort of thing could go either way . . . stupid mistake or a complete misunderstanding of even the simplest words! :'(</p>
