I'll tell you what really sucks...

What really sucks is just after you have turned in your essay to five schools, you find that you left out a word on your essay and now a sentence doesn't make sense at all--but you've already turned them in--too late now!

That is what just happened to me, and I am so p****d at myself.

So, if somebody could please comfort me and tell me that that one word is not very important that would make me feel a lot better. Thanks.

One word is not very important.

It is not the end of the world. Tons of people make editing mistakes. Don't worry about it.

I had a really stupid mistake on my essay too but come on, schools will not kick you out because of it. They read it so fast and annotate it for the board to read they will not say "btw...there was a grammar mistake in line 23" I wrote "I was most enlightened by one specific experience was when I met A Gu, the mother of a family in the village."

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it...I realized a week or so ago that one of my Tufts essays had a glaring grammatical error in it....they didn't seem to notice. :p
