Uh oh... I got a D.

Hi (blank),
I just asked the Registrar about the repeated course. She said the grade will show,
however, the credits attempted are removed and not calculated in your GPA.
Colleges do recalculate your transcript using their own formula. You will need to go to
the schools website to confirm how they count grades. Each school is different.
I hope this helps.

Am I done for HYPSM? It'll show a D that counts as an A....

not if u give the admission officers a christian side hug .

lol ^^^
10 char

If you are able to compensate for that with your other grades, then I think that you will be fine. Aren’t you first in your class? I wouldn’t think that it would be too much of an issue.

^
Yeah, but what if the college recalculates the GPA? Then I go from like a 3.91-3.97 to like a 3.7…

■■■.

Turn that D into a : D.

To be honest, that’s out of your control. Focus on doing well and acquiring sufficients scores on your SATs and AP tests. Dwelling on past events that you possess no control of isn’t beneficial.

haha. u deserve it. lol.

^
But it’ll all be wasted if they re-calculate GPA…

Man, one ****ing class just ruined my life.

why did you want to go to HYPSM, didn’t you once say

“There’s no point in going to HYPSM except for prestige.”

^
No… I never said that.

^
Yeah, that’s for FILM. USC is the top film school in the world.

What class, if I may ask?

^
Honors Algebra 2/Trig

Re-taking it for an A.

Anxiety attack here. I need some positive news.

Is that some kind of super insane algebra 2/trig class, or do you just struggle with math. (Not trying to be a dick)

^
Most people complain about the difficulty, and I am no exception. :stuck_out_tongue: That being said, I’ll take the full blame since some people did get As and I can’t always have a good teacher.

Yeah, I’m not too good at math…

Perhaps you could have your guidance counselor make a note about it in her recommendations or something? It might be better than nothing.

perhaps, if you whine and cry about it about more, you can sell your teacher your magical fairy tears for extra credit.
