Sooooooooo...

I got accepted into UW-Madison, hopefully getting my housing stuff soon, all that stuff (season tickets, perchance?)

Anyways, I'm taking AP Calc this year, what would happen (entirely hypothetically) if I pulled an "F" second semester?

All my other grades are A's and B's. Would they boot me? If I wanted to switch majors, would I get shot down because of it?

There's like a 20% chance it'll happen.

Thanks.

Failing a class would be a big problem. Just pass it.

Oscar! Oscar! What should we do with you?! :)

If you end up having insufficient "math requirement" (see http://www.admissions.wisc.edu/freshman/requirements.php#coursePrep ) after failing your AP calc, I afraid you are giving the adcom no choice.

But, don't worry. As you said, there is 80% this won't happen. ;)

yeah.. i'd just bust your butt and pass... obviously if you're in an A.P. calc class you are completely capable of at least getting a D if not a C for the quarter
