<p>Absolutely. I grew up in Urbana and it seems everyone at UIUC is either from the suburbs of Chicago or across the ocean.</p>
<p>An OOS admit to Mechanical Engineering. From across the plains, not the ocean - Colorado.</p>
<p>I got admitted into UIUC
But it says admitted under an alternate choice. My college is division of general studies and my program/major are undeclared.
I remember applying for Computer Science.
What does this mean ?</p>

my main ecs were:
a sustainability initiative with the mayor’s office where we planted 6 garden around town,mock trial, tennis, volunteering at the ambulance squad, tkd black belt. i had a couple others, including leadership positions.</p>
