<p>Hey everybody,</p>
<p>I'm a current sophomore at DePaul University. I am a part of the Strobel Honors Accounting Program and am willing to stay in it until graduation. I have a 4.00 GPA and am considering transferring to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's College of Business for accounting as well. My goals are pretty set - I'd like to sit down for the CPA exam and work at one of the Big 4. </p>
<p>I'm wondering what you guys think would give me a better advantage in landing a spot at a top accounting firm and ultimately having a successful accounting career outside of Chicago.</p>
<p>I know that Strobel's reputation is rising, but it seems like UIUC has been consistently ranked one of the top undergraduate accounting schools in the nation, which really helps their credibility. </p>
<p>I'd appreciate any thoughtful responses/advice because I've been really hard-pressed in making a decision before the transfer application opens up. Thank you all for your time!</p>
