oh ya… and University of washington seattle for comp sci

I would be really surprised if Purdue rejects you…UIUC would be slightly more difficult, but possible…

oh ok i see… i reallyy want to attend UIUC

do i even have a shot at top UC’s?

I think purdue will take you for sure, especially since your SAT is above average, thought I’m not sure about UIUC. That would mostly depend on how rigorous your courses and school were, as your test scores are seemingly within range.

thanks! little less stressed now… lol

I actually really like your chances. If you’re going by sheer averages, you’re pretty much average at UIUC and well above average at Purdue. That being said, with your EC’s I think you can get into at least Purdue and have UIUC as a slight reach given the fact that you’re applying for a hard major.

whew… thanks!!!

apologies, I’m new here, what does bump mean?

it just makes your post go to the front @Turvina‌

it “bumps” it to the very beginning

You’ll get into both. I went to Purdue and their engineering is amazing!

@suthamerica‌ for purdue i applied to the college of science because comp sci was not in engineering

Computer science is also one of the most popular majors there. If you didn’t apply for engineering, it means higher chance of getting accepted. Don’t be worried at all!

whew! thanks!

Purdue and uiuc and UW washington shouuld accept you…

I’d say you’re average demographic for ucic and above average for Purdue. Good luck!

Purdue is possible while UIUC CS is not likely. Also, UIUC does not want any recommendation letters.

I think you’ll get into both. Purdue, yes, but UIUC, an 80% yes.
