UIUC Chancellor Herman resigns

<p>Effective October 26th, he will be resigning as chancellor and joining the faculty.

<p>He needs to just ■■■■. Joining the faculty is just ridiculous. Get that filth out of the system.</p>

<p>I’m sure the teaching position was quid pro quo for his resignation. Otherwise the new board would have actually had to show some backbone, and vote to remove him. He has a PhD in Math. He did the math, and took the golden parachute that was offered, as well as a very lucrative public pension in the years to come.</p>

<p>I understand the reasoning, but that doesn’t make me like it anymore. It is bad enough that my diploma already has the signatures of him, White and Shah on it, but now he continues to pollute the school after all this. Simply terrible.</p>

<p>(not to mention I am still bitter about their support of removing the Chief, haha)</p>
