UIUC VS Michigan (Specifically EGL Honors)

Just to be clear to start, I know both are great schools for engineering and in other disciplines so this is not a general question about that. I've visited both schools and loved them.

Anyway, I've been accepted to both University of Michigan and now UIUC. I've had a lot more time to be excited about Michigan (I applied EA), and have discovered their EGL Honors program, which sounds very interesting to me. It basically contains everything I want to accomplish in my undergraduate (or in this case 5 year undergrad/grad) career.

These things are 1) a strong engineering program 2) an exposure to business classes (whether or not I ultimately decide to go more into engineering or business) 3) Language classes. I want to do a study abroad so the fact that the EGL program encourages it is great (I want to study an Asian language while doing martial arts for a summer abroad).

However, an issue that I think will arise is financial aid. I feel as though I'm much more likely to be given scholarships from Illinois than from Michigan. There's not a chance in the world that I would choose Michigan if I have to pay anywhere near the sticker price.

So, what types of programs and opportunities are available at UIUC that could give me an experience similar to the EGL program? Are business/economics/other minors popular? How about studying a language on top of my engineering courseload?

Thanks for any input!
