UL Petroleum Engineering

Hi everyone. I'm thinking about going to graduate school for petroleum engineering at Louisiana-Lafayette. I got my undergrad in PETE from a nearby university, and I live in state so it will be affordable if I choose to go there. Anybody have any advice/insight/experience in the PETE program at UL, or any info on what jobs the master's graduates are getting?

Thanks in advance.

UL Lafayette is a great school and fabulous for Petroleum engineering. Try to stay within the Gulf Coast when you go for grad school as that is where the jobs are at. However, I’d recommend looking at slightly more expensive options like University of Texas at Austin, as petroleum engineers start at 100k+ and UT has an amazing grad school.
