D-golf is really big in michigan. But, it kind of has a bad rep. Here, if you play d-golf, everyone assumes you're a stoner.

UF has a ridiculous ultimate team, they've only lost once all year, by one point. My team's A squad (UCLA) is pretty mediocare (we're underachievers IMO) but I play for the B squad (first year playing) and by ranking we were one of the best B teams in the country. I'm mostly there because I run fast though... the throwing and catching are still a work in progress (but it's getting better all the time).

master the forehand, you shall.

No doubt my forehand has made a lot of improvement over the last year, at this point it's just about refining it, improving my touch and accuracy (especially outside in). I'd like to get a bit more distance on it too (right now I'm at about 50 yards) and work on throwing in the wind.

The nice thing about ultimate though is that most people haven't really played it before, so most people start off at a relatively even playing field. It's full of guys who were competitive athletes in high school though, so the competition is tough as it should be.

I don't know; Ultimate frisbee is fun, but a good game of capture the flag can not be beat, IMO. Capture the flag is just plain fun, but many beg to differ.

we usually play contanct ultimate. it gets pretty intense at times, but its a blast.

We actually sometimes end up playing barefoot, cause its better traction in the grass.
