Umass app. revoked?

So I got into Umass Amherst through early action and had a real hard time this semester with AP History.

I had a 3.5 gpa going into the semester so I do good in school but may get a D in this class and a C in another. This semester is really tough with all this college stuff going on, will umass admissions realize this, and will they even look at my mid-year report, or only my final transcript thus giving me a chance to pull the grade up.

In a nut shell, will I get my acceptance from umass amherst revoked for a bad term despite doing very well all high school? (That is if they look at mid year reports)

I got alot of questions in there so thanks guys and gals.

bump...any help ?

Im pretty sure you dont send in a mid year report if you already got in EA. If you plan to enroll then you send in your final transcript. Mid year reports are for schools to look at so they can figure out if they'll accept you or not. Being accepted EA or ED means that they felt that the grades and test scores that you had prior to senior year were good enough to grant you admission into their school. Im not 100% but pretty much
.

^Most require midyear reports too. Mine did, and every one I looked at did.

So I have time to pull that ***** ass class grades up for the final transcript and hopefully all will be good?

I know there are some admissions people on here, any help would be amazing!

Thanks alot jsmall!

Usually acceptances are revoked if a student's grades drop all across the board, ie senioritis took over. If you are only really struggling in one class, but your other grades stay about the same, you should be fine.

i wouldn't relax just yet though, im sure 2 cs isnt the end of the world but u can at least try to pull up that D, right? in my opinion, theres prob a big difference between seeings 2 cs on a transcript vs. a c and d (i don't about this school's revoking policy but ive heard a huge variety of claims on what can get u revoked at any school...neva trust in the kinder words of some cc'ers, lol). But ya, if you can't get one of those grades up, try to do good 2nd semester at least.

Special condidtion are often listed in the acceptance letter. The UMich engineering letter, for example, states outright that acceptance may be revoked if the student receives a grade less than "B" in the sci or math class in which s/he was enrolled when s/he applied.

Rather than revoke the acceptance, however, UMass may decide to admit the OP but put him on academic probation immediately.

holy crack less than a b??? that scares me.
