Hi, so I’m currently a junior and really freaking about next year! So I don’t think my gpa is all that bad like it’s decent I guess…I am going to be taking the new SAT (1600) in March and was wondering if I get a score above 1420, and have my gpa around 3.0 (I don’t really know how to calculate my gpa but I know it’s above a 3.0) and have a really good essay will I get in? I just need some hope I know there’s a chance I’m not going to get in but this is my dream college! Thank you!
A 1420 might be a bit unrealistic considering your gpa is around around a 3.0. If you’re out of state you would need around a 3.6 and 1250/1600 on the SAT.
What about instate and who knows anything can happen I know a friend who got a 3.7 and his recent SAT score is 2250
