DS got in Bioengineering. 1510 Sat; 4.19/4.35; 12 APs, ok ECs. No mention of honors. OOS

Some are accepted directly into computer science and others have to go through letters and sciences first, then transfer into computer science. See : Limited Enrollment Program : University of Maryland

No need to be too disappointed. She can complete the gateway requirements and change her major to engineering. Not everyone will get a direct admit, it’s not a bad thing.

Accepted - applied CS Major but got accepted into Letters and Sciences and Carillon. OOS, 1530 SAT, 4.0 UW gpa, 30 college credits, and pretty good ecs,essay,loc, etc. Kind of disappointed if I’m being honest, but not a rejection!
