OK it sounds like the ability was more based on school applied unless we get a bunch of accepted students chiming in who were able to change. Thank you for the responses, and good luck for the RD round.

I was accepted and could change my major
Accepted with 22k yearly scholarship. 1460 SAT/34 ACT (donāt think they saw ACT though, sent too late), 3rd in class, good leadership like FBLA state presidentā¦nobody from my school ever applies here. Too far away.

Are all Early Action applicants who get deferred given the option between ED II and Regular decision or are some just put into the Regular Decision pool?
