Reflections: I honestly thought my GPA and SAT were a too low, but I explained my family situation thoroughly and I think that helped. Also, coming from a VERY low income family, I did the Net Price Calculator beforehand and it said I’d have to pay 20K a year, so even if I was accepted I could absolutely not attend. But, that was a load of crap, because if I attend UMiami, I’ll only have to pay approx. 5K a year so don’t lose hope!!!
