Has anyone heard from shipman? People started getting them on the 26th of Feb last year, so they should arrive soon.
That means you don’t have a decision yet. The link only appears when they have made a decision. If you were a deferral from December, you should have had a link then. If you used to see it and now the link is now gone, it’s a good thing. That means your decision is coming. If you applied RD, then they haven’t made a decision yet.
Seen a lot of people getting in over the last couple of days who were originally deferred. Are there a lot of people also getting in regular decision from LSA? This board is rather quiet, so I’m wondering if there was another place people are posting or whether most RD applicants hear on the regular decision date at the end of March. Thanks so much.
only a handful of rd people have heard, that’s why the thread is this quiet.
Getting my decision on April is great, at least my first rejection won’t be UM in this regular decision schools round
Thanks. That is what I figured and totally agree that waiting until April is fine as long as I know when to expect it.
Awwww, I would love to have a decision in March
Hey all! I got an email notifying me of my acceptance into LSA two days ago. I was pleasantly surprised because I thought the RD decisions would come mid-April. Does anyone know why mine came so early?
maybe they’re accepting all the cool people early ;-;
Submitted my application a few minutes before the RD deadline at midnight. I was notified on Wolverine Access last Thursday at midnight that I’m accepted into the College of Engineering! To be honest I thought they were only going to release decisions for deferred applicants, but then I refreshed WA, saw the view decision link, and exploded in happiness because I was going to attend a concert that Friday. Perfect timing lol
My HAIL interview is scheduled this week, though
Anyone know when UMich is going to release RD for LSA?
Yeah, according to the 2020 thread they were mostly released on the last Wednesday and Thursday of the month.
I feel like it’s been forever, I submitted to LSA November 25th and still haven’t heard back O_O
but seriously though is anyone else as nervous as I am I didn’t realize UMich was THIS competitive upon application moop
I’ve been so anxious about the decision all day. I honestly feel like throwing up Michigan is my top choice and my whole family wants me to get in so badly, my dad especially. I straight up am going to feel like such a failure if I don’t get in. With a 3.7W gpa but great ECs, fine test scores, and legacy, I can’t tell if I should just give up all hope or actually have some sort of faith. I hate waiting.
I’m also pretty anxious. I’ve seen tons of RD engineering kids get their decisions, but I’ve yet to heard back. However, the site does say it takes roughly 12 weeks for international students to get their decisions. While I’m American, my education is international, which may explain why it’s taking so long.
Since Feb 1, the day I submitted my application, 6 weeks have passed. I guess I might get my decision in about 1-2 weeks. Ugh, this is very frustrating.
I submitted mine on 1/16 and still haven’t heard anything. Should I be worried?
Welcome to the club. No, the largest batch of decisions is due in around 2 weeks (according to last year’s chat)
That’s interesting. The past few decision cycles have been LSA-heavy. I hope CoE gets the emphasis this time.
