<p>I would say your 30 on your ACT is sufficient. The mean at Michigan is roughly 29, so you are above the mean. You have a good GPA and excellent ECs. Unless you feel you can really improve on your SAT or ACT, stick to your ACT and you should be ok. Apply in late August or early September if you can.</p>
<p>The earliest I can take the SAT is in October. Would it hurt chances if I applied in late October?</p>
