Umich engineering for international student

Hi,
I am a senior studying american diploma in one of the top high schools in Saudi Arabia. I am aiming for aerospace engineering in the University of Michigan, and basically I have fallen in love with this school…

W GPA: 3.7
I took the hardest classes offered in my school
AP Physics
AP Chem
I never took AP tests

My STEM GPA is quite high

TOEFL: 95

SAT I: 660M 600RW (first time without studying)
I have two chances in NOV and DEC, and I can raise it to 750M 600RW

  • I did a research and published a paper related to combustion (junior year summer)
  • Third place winner in the national olympiad for science (with my research)
  • Intel ISEF 2017 finalist
  • Attended MUN conference at the United Nations HQ
  • Second place winner in my school science fair (2014)
  • I did also a research related to machine learning, but not published.

Thank you for reading this!

Can someone tell what are my chances?

Your weighted GPA is a 3.7, what is your unweighted gpa. My best friend is in the aerospace engineering program here at UM and he was a New Yorker, minimum out of state gpa should be around 3.8/3.9 unweighted and your weighted is a 3.7.

Your projected SAT score is still too low for CoE.

GPA, SAT, and TOEFL all look a bit low to me.
