UMich LSA Honors vs. Georgetown

I have to decide between these two schools and for both of them, I got into the arts and science departments (LSA and Georgetown College). I’m kind of undecided so idk what major I would end up pursuing, but it might be related to economics or business in the future. I know it’s hard to compare, but which schools is “better”? For example, which one is perceived as “smarter” or will leave a better impression? Which one has more job opportunities? I know they’re really similar, so right now I’m trying to gauge which one will impress people more even though it’s superficial.

I would say GU is slightly more impressive but not enough to pick it for that reason. I don’t think I would bump a school up much because of honors- for most schools it doesn’t change the overall experience much. If you prefer the college town rah rah vibe and green spaces of UM then it’s close enough in prestige to not think twice. And it’s alumni network will make up for any minuscule drop off in prestige.
And if you prefer the urban opportunities if GU and feel that more than makes up for it’s smaller and less well-kept campus, that’s a great choice too.

Honestly their both name brand schools. I think more of this is regional then anything. You will be looked at being successful at either of them. It comes down to what do you want your next 4 years to be like?
