UMich sending late transcript & school report.....

I'm a Canadian high school student and I have already submitted all my application on October 31.
BUT my guidance counselor has not submitted my transcript and school reports.
She uploaded them for sure, but have not pressed "Submit".
It says in my Common App the start date, so I obviously thought that everything will get sent even if it doesnt say "submitted".

Guess I was wrong.. I'm going to talk to my guidance today and have her send them.
I called UMich undergraduate admission office and they said that EVERYTHING had to be submitted by Nov.1.
So even if my guidance sends them today, I'm going to be considered for Regular Admission?
Is this really true? Should I maybe email the office explaining my situation?

And even if I have already submitted my Common App, can the counselor still submit stuff, and they will get sent to the university?

People say that sending transcripts late doesnt really matter, but I dont know if that is also true for UMich since they keep stressing that EVERYTHING had to be submitted before the deadline..

It really depends on the school. Some do allow a week or two grace period while others don’t. Last year, UMich received more EA application than they can handled and delayed the review/notification of some applications submitted near the deadline. It is reasonable for them to defer any incomplete application to RD. You should be able to find out on Wolverine Access later on to see if you are qualified for EA application.

@billcsho‌ Thanks for your comment. Do you know when I would be able to check if I’m qualified for EA application?

I don’t remember it exactly, but I think it should be updated a couple weeks after the deadline.
