I'm fretting a little bit right now. The EA deadline is the 1st of November, and I plan on submitting the Common Application and Supplement electronically a couple nights before then. However, do my other materials (test scores, teacher recommendations, transcripts, etc.) HAVE to be received by or before this deadline? Or is it just MY part of the application that needs to be received by then?

Edit: Nevermind, the administrative office at my school already has handled the transcripts and recs matters. However I literally JUST sent my scores in through rush report and noticed that the UMich doesn’t accept rush scores. Do they look at whether the test scores were post marked by/before 11/1 or received by 11/1?

11/1 is a “postmark” date for everything; if sent electronically it is the send by date. Note Mich does not accept “rush paper scores.” I assume you did not specifically order a paper score. Until a couple years ago, CB sent rush reports via mail on paper. If a school has electronic delivery (Mich and essentally all schools), a “rush” send now consists of an electronic send not a paper score. Thus, your score should be accepted.

Yeah for your sat scores just have them sent by nov 1, the rest will take care of itself.
