Hi everyone! I, like many other high school seniors, am having trouble making my college decision.
A little about me:
-I live in upstate NY
-I am majoring in Biomedical Engineering
-I'm looking for a college with a strong sense of community/unity, a collaborative over a competitive environment, and inspiring professors. I consider myself kind of a "social nerd" in that I work hard during the week (until recently, senioritis is hitting hard;)), so I'm free to go out over the weekend. My friends and I, while intellectual, are fun, crazy people, and I would love a college student body with similar personalities.

I have to choose between UMich, Rochester, and BU. After financial aid all cost about the same, with BU being slightly more expensive. Currently I am leaning more towards UMich or Rochester, although I like that Boston University is close enough that I can take the occasional weekend trip home and I'll be attending with some of my best friends from high school. For Rochester, a major plus comes in the fact I was accepted into their 5-year graduate engineering program (GEAR). However, overall I have to say UMich is probably the school that excites me the most, and I feel like it would give me the best well-rounded college experience.

I know this an extremely personal decision, but any thoughts/opinions would be MUCH appreciated in helping me decide. Thanks so much!
