I'm really stuck between these three schools, any input would be appreciated.
I'm planning on doing BME (accepted to Engineering at Mich and BME for VCU) and premed.
Michigan is giving me a little bit of money, Case is about half price, and VCU will be almost free.
What is the best school for pre-med not only in terms of academics but research and volunteer opportunities and undergrad in general (also considering cost, because med school is expensive)?

Most CCers will tell you this year that if you’re planning on med school you want to have as little personal debt as possible and as much financial resources left over when you get there. Given these premises, VCU is the obvious choice. The med schools aren’t going to care where you went to school but what you did while you were there. I know there are research opps at VCU–I don’t know how hard it will be to get hooked up with them. Do they have an office of undergraduate research or something like that? Either way, you can get the opps since you’re probably a go-getter kind of person.

You don’t tell us how much each school COSTS you (loans are a cost), but I presume neither CWR nor UMich gets close to “almost free.” Although they’re great schools, you want to go to med school right now. Besides, you’re more likely to find a very high GPA at VCU than at the other two, and GPA is all that with med school AOs.
