@Juan1738 I don’t think they let you submit resumes, or least I haven’t found a place to. For all of my further info on my activities, I put everything in the “additional information” section
wait in the why mich/school essay, can I say something like “LSA curriculum will…” or do I have to constantly say College of LSA over and over again?

Would applying Early Action increase my chances? I have the common app done, but I’m not sure whether I should wait to send my Senior year 1st quarter grades or not. Rate my chances?
There may be some other info you can include to help people chance you. Is your GPA UW or W? Is it on the Michigan scale? Are you in-state? What college are you applying to? Etc.?
My son (out of state) was accepted last year and is attending U of M. He had 4.1 GPA with 4 APs. had volunteering and ran XC and track. 2120 on older SAT and 33 ACT. I would say your chances are pretty good. He was deferred EA in December and did not get accepted until early Feb. We heard most out of state were deferred EA last year. Received $12,000 grant with work study option. Was also accepted to Honors program and so far is enjoying that.
I’m applying to Ross, but inn the “areas of interest” section on the common app, “business administration” or even “business” ins’t on there… anyone else have that problem?
I still have not applied. I’m still working on my common app essay and I’m confused about the supplemental regarding community.
Still haven’t applied yet either ^^ my essays are pretty much done, im just waiting to get feedback from my counselors and teachers. By latest my goal is to apply no later than October 28th but hopefully sooner than that!
Just applied lol… little nervous but good luck everyone!
how do you apply to the honors program
@allima you have to be admitted to michigan before you are allowed to apply to honors
I can say with almost complete confidence that you guys will get your admission decisions on December 16 around 4:00pm. You definitely won’t get them any earlier. Not sure if any of you are already wondering that, but I know I was as I was waiting for my admission decision last year. Go blue!
Do any of the international students applying need to submit financial statements/bank letters/parental undertaking letters/ passport photocopies? Some universities require these…I don’t think UMich does, but just want to make sure. (I’m not applying for financial aid).
Just applied!
Does anyone know how long it takes after you submit your application for them to email you information about setting up a Umich account to check your application progress?
maybe a few days later @microssrunner17
@microssrunner17 , it may take as long as 10 days.
My S is a senior and was admitted ea. Ironically, three years later my D, statistically a much better candidate, will probably be deferred EA and in the end, may not be admitted. Admissions is so much more competitive than when my S applied.
