<p>My teacher sent out my recs already but i realized they are wrong size envelope. Do you think stanford would really care? I don't think this should affect my acceptance chances since it's quite trivial...but still wondering.</p>

<p>I did the same thing. I called the admissions office yesterday and they said it won’t be a problem.</p>
<p>I sent all my stuff in 39 cents (lol 39 cents mail doesn’t even exist anymore) envelopes. It doesn’t matter, really.</p>

<p>I think all the stern warnings and seemingly non-negotiable instructions are simply there to help the mail sorters and file preparers as much as possible, esp since stanford expects a huge rise in SCEA this year. The adcoms certainly won’t be bothered abt those things (they prob wun even be in the mailroom, etc), if thats what you’re concerned with.</p>
