My son (OOS) got admitted today by CLA, but the offer letter online doesnāt say what major. His first-choice and second-choice majors are both in CLA, his first-choice major is CS, so we donāt know which major has admitted him. Is this same to everyone here?
sorry, correction, his additional major (not the second-choice major) is also in CLA which is economics, so we donāt know if heās admitted by CS or economics.
UPDATE: Happy to report my daughter got into Carlson School of Management this afternoon.

My daughter applied with following stats to CSOM:
Applied: 9/19
GPA: 3.88 Unweighted/4.0
[ACT]: 30
Good ECs
In-state: one of the big schools in Twin Citiesā¦ do not rank
Rigor: Only 3 APs but many honors courses.
Wants to do Finance/MIS.
Any idea on her chances to get in? second option is CLA

I think they use the grades you entered in the common app.

I have a jazz musician son who got accepted last week also. Originally, it was a long shot. His grades, talent level, and activities were spot on, along with 42 credit hours of college in the schools classes; however, his ACT was low. When he discovered that the U was test optional again this year, he went for it. The only thing is, he didnāt build a network with the professors there, so he has to play catch up prior to auditions. I wish your jazzydrums kid all the success in the world; maybe my son will be there too.
Did anyone get accepted yesterday, 10/10? Iām curious because of Indigenous Peoples Day, if they gave any decisions out.
