Daughter’s tracker updated this morning – accepted to CLA! We are in Missouri, she applied early action.
Now to decide between UWMadison and UMTC…

I’m going to assume I was waitlisted. Kind of annoying. Applied for CSOM with a 30 ACT and a 88UW GPA. Good EC’s. Second choice was CLA. Oh well. I got into my #1 and 2, so I’m not crushed. Just kind of ticked off. Best of luck to all of you!!
Congrats on getting what you wanted, and seems you will know OWOA by Tues as far as umtc goes.
@musicgirl131 did you apply by Nov. 1? Because your stats are obviously great for CLA at the very least. I’d be really surprised if you were waitlisted outright, unless there was something about your HS course load that didn’t make sense vis-a-vis their college prep requirements.
@JBStillFlying I applied in early October. I have also met all of their requirements, as the requirements to graduate my high school are more rigerous.

Update: just logged into my portal. I was waitlisted. Really Minnesota? You’re going to let people who are OOS with a 24 ACT and a 3.3 GPA with no honors/AP into CLA but waitlist me??
@musicgirl131 - so sorry to hear this! 
I was also waitlisted at CLA with a 29 ACT and a 3.5
I also had a very difficult course load, and pretty good ECs. Sometimes it’s just a random subjective thing I guess.
@huet99 was the 3.5 un-weighted?
Also waitlisted for CSOM with 2220 SAT and 3.33 cumulative uw/3.97 w. (maybe it was that…or rec letters?)
I definitely had no problem with extracurriculars or course load, and I even did the optional essays…

@jh1868 did you get into CLA or had you just applied to CSOM?
Edit to add: the reason I ask is that a 2220 is up there pretty high for the standardized test scores (it’s at the 75th percentile for CSE, as a matter of fact). I’ve known kids in the past who got into CLA with a 3.3 or a 3.4 and very high test scores. Not too surprised about CSOM because they really do look hard at uw GPA, but the test score would have put you into CLA (assuming you applied there as a second choice) in a previous year.
