<p>Yes, a larger number of students receiving scholarships but neither the Robertson nor the Morehead use any money from the UNC scholarship fund/budget; both are privately funded and independent of UNC.</p>
<p>This also illustrates how little merit money is out there for OOS students outside of the Robertson and Morehead so the competition for those awards must be very intense.</p>
<p>True, but comparing UNC’s OOS tuition (~25k) to similar caliber schools 33k-40K+ – it’s like every student gets at least an 8k dollar merit award for just getting in.</p>
