Rejected as an OOS student from Northern Virginia. 1530, top 5%, good essays and likely good recommendation, ECs probably killed me lol

its a very competitive school so I’m not that upset. have more interest in other options

so i got waitlisted oos for comp sci. i heard that for the comp sci waitlist, they don’t waitlist that many ppl, so is the chance still there? if anyone knowns naything

Interesting. I am seeing some people got Honors acceptance. And others got Honors denied. Ours says nothing either way. I wonder if we’re in Honors purgatory.

DD got in (in state - Wake County) 3.95UW/4.49W, 35ACT, 1510SAT, 250+ service hours, Varsity sport (8 years league/co-captain), Eagle Scout, great ECs and essays, legacy

My D got waitlisted. Does that sound right? I thought people were accepted, deferred or denied. Also, we are OOS.

Did you read something that said declined for honors? My daughter was accepted but isn’t seeing anything either way about that.
