Did anyone else get their FA award? I was really disappointed with how little I was given, especially as an OOS student. UNC costs twice as much as the other schools I’ve already been accepted to, so it’s definitely off my list.

@jasishere oh I’m sorry! I thought you meant my financial aid package! But no, it doesn’t say how much money for the package. It will be the lowest laptop package they offer to students for sure. I’m gonna end up paying extra to get a MacBook.

Anyone know when decisions come out for deferred students?
@collegebound1516 from other threads, it appears UNC has yet to send the usual instructions email. (The one they sent a day before EA release.) That suggests RD decisions won’t be released until sometime next week. Sorry. Hopefully I’m wrong.
Deferred comes out after the r.d. deadline
Deferred decisions come at same time as RD.
I mean if you are deferred and then you must wait for those accepted to decline their spot and open up for a deferred.
@jtut2006 If you are deferred you are now part if the RD pool and your decision will come out with RD. If you are wait-listed then you have to wait and see if a spot opens up.

I got an email on how to check the status of my application (I was deffered initially) but when I log in I’m still deffered. Did anyone get the email that says to check your application status?
The email is sent out to everyone a day before the decisions are released. Since the email was sent last night, the decisions for deferred applicants should be out today, probably around 4 pm.
Soooooo for us RD folk do you guys think it’ll be out today? 17 more minutes…
my daughter got in…no scholarship info for Biology. She is out of state…but she is also in at UT Austin Scholar and Plan 2 program at UT. 35 ACT, National Merit finalist, 4 th in class of 555, many 5 in AP exams, DECA nationals, Indian origin, Debate state, 12 years of classical dance, officer in many clubs, mainly 1 year full true reseaech at MD Anderson Cancer Center and will present to experts in May
