Has anyone received Assured admission to pharmacy school yet?
I got Research Scholars as well as being a finalist for Chancellor’s Science Scholars. I’m surprised as I’m OOS and my ACT isn’t great (31). I can’t wait for FA to see if my family can swing this!
OOS, 36 ACT, admitted to Harvard. Invited to Honors and the Research Scholars program. Still haven’t heard anything re: merit aid…
Has anyone that did not receive the Excel email in January been accepted to an Excel program?

@nikkit21 Congratulations on your acceptance into a great program. I am really glad to see that UNC is offering assured admission into the Dual Degree in Environment and Science Communication. It is a relatively new offering as a degree and I am proud to say that my DD was the first student accepted into the program when it was established. She will be finishing up her Master’s thesis this summer.
You should have the opportunity to study abroad in several locations on the environmental front. My DD studied Cleantech in Germany, Denmark & Sweden. Other opportunities include Galapagos/Ecuador, Cambridge & Thailand. On the communications side she has been able to travel to numerous competitions and has had great learning experiences through those. This past summer she completed a marketing internship with a solar company in Cali.If you would like more information, message me and I can fill you in.
Has anyone heard back about the Wood Scholars program yet?
My son received the Undergrad Summer Research Fellowship ($5K for a research project of the student’s design). I didn’t think he would get more than one of the opportunities so it was a pleasant surprise to find the email in the inbox.

For anyone who has received assured admission into Kenan-Flagler, once you complete the online form are you good to go? If anyone has completed the next steps any help would be great! 
I just realized I had the wrong email address on my connect carolina. Does that mean if they sent an email about merit scholarships, i wouldn’t get it? Should I call? btw- i was accepted.
I’m guessing if I haven’t received an excel email by now it’s safe to say I wasn’t selected? Not upset just don’t want to keep checking for it.
If you haven’t already @wywtcm21 , you should call tomorrow. I don’t see any information about connect carolina anywhere on the portal so, unless I am missing it, the only way to know would be the emails they’ve sent.
Once the Fin Aid comes up on Connect Carolina, do people sometimes get notified of a scholarship after?
