I passed my ap spanish exam last year. So I got 6 hours credit for spanish 203 and spanish 204. Does that mean I'm done with foreign language at unc?

I think you have to do one more class at UNC, then you're finished.

I could be wrong, but I think you're done. If you start at the beginning you have to take through 203. If you place into 204 though, you have to take it. If you place out of 204, I don't think you have to take anything.

I know that you have to take 2 years worth of foreign language.(4 semesters worth). So I think you covered just half of it. You have to go up to level 4. Take the Placement test while your at CTOPS to find out where you will be placed.

Isn't 204, level 4?

if it is, then your set.

You're done!
I just took Spanish 203 last semester and that finished the requirement up for me.

Unless you plan on doing International Relations or something like that.

you only need 3 semester hours of language for a BA in science correct??

you're done--i got credit for AP french and wasn't required to take any more foreign language classes. i decided to continue, though, and am now a french minor. it was really nice to bypass all of the intro classes and get straight into the more interesting upper-level literature and culture courses.

are the french classes easy or hard?
