I'm out of state for UNC and was accepted to their honors program, and I've also been accepted to emory. The costs for both are around the same, so price is not an issue here. I would like to go the pre-med track and possibly major in bio or chem. does one college have a significant advantage over the other? Also, are there perks to unc honors that couldnt possibly be passed up that make unc more favorable than emory?

I’m not very familiar with UNC other than that I know it’s a beautiful campus! haha But if you’re pre-med, there is no better place to be than Emory! Of course, there’s Emory Hospital right on campus, but we also have connections with the Winship Cancer Center, the CDC, which is within walking distance, Grady Hospital, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and many more excellent places for research and internships. We also have a superb pre-health mentoring office that helps students find internships, complete the necessary requirements for med school, prepare for the MCATs, etc.
