I’m really interested in going to UNC, but I’m wondering if I can get any merit scholarships like Morehead and Robertson. I kinda ruined my GPA but my test scores and extracurriculars are pretty good. I’m wondering if I should apply for Morehead or Robertson (since they are separate applications). Also, I’m in-state!
GPA: My school doesn’t have GPA but basically I took 5 APs for the first time in sophmore year and I got a B in all of them 
, I also got a B in my second semester of chemistry, but other than that I got all A’s and always took the most rigorous courses at my school. Also, no class rank.
PSAT: 214 (I got commended but I’m not sure about semifinalist / finalist)
ACT: 33 writing: 11
SAT 2 : USH 760 (Should I submit?)
Extracurriculars: Editor in chief of school newspaper (member 11th, EIC 12th grade), competitive journalism camp junior year, write for 2 pretty big publications (11th - 12th), internship at a local magazine (11th summer), research internship at Georgetown (10th, 11th summer), Science Olympiad lots of small regionals metals, president (9-11th member, 12th president), volunteer ~250 hours, mock trial team state 2nd place (9th), various small team math competitions (9th).
I think i’ll have good recs (one spectacular, one good)
And I think I’d write a pretty good essay.
