Unc- Need Advice!

Hi everyone-

I am trying to trasnfer to UNC Chapel Hill next year (I am currently a freshman at College of Charleston). I graduated high school with a 4.35, 7th out of 228, 31 on act, editor of school paper, 3 sports, etc. etc. etc. I am from Cleveland, OH, so many people told me I was rejected last year applying as a freshman last year because of my location. At college, I have a 3.5 with pretty advanced classes-

Honors English
Dance class
Spanish 202
Public Speaking
Honors Seminar

2nd Semester-
Linear Algebra
Intro to Comm Theory
Into to Abstract Math
Mass Media
Tap
Honors Psych

I also got a 5 on the ap calc bc test, 4 on ap bio, 3 on english, physics, and history. I'm on the College of Charleston dance team and work for the math department.

What do you think my chances are? Is there anything I can do to increase them? (interviews/ letters?) Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!!

please help!!

Just keep the GPA up and you should be alright. UNC doesn't take into account residency status for transfer applicants like it does for Freshmen applicants where they have to have like 80% in state.

Honestly why would you want to transfer to UNC, i mean you sound like you are doing fantastic at C of C. Besides you have a great shot i mean your stats are awesome, i mean they say that a 3.5 college gpa is really competitive, so you have a great shot but it sounds like everything is going well at C of C.
