Hey guys
I cross posted this in the UVA thread, but I was hoping from some Tar-Heel opinions.
i've been accepted as a transfer for both unc-chapel hill and uva.
i'm a chemistry-econ double major, and out of state for both schools (from CT)
financial awards are about the same, but slight advantage UNC (~5K/yr less)
job prospects/recruiting are also important to me
i know they're peer schools, but anyone have any insight into what i should do?

UNC

It will cost less, the prestige is basically the same, and UNC is good in the sciences. UVa is good for humanities.

Since your majors are Chem/Econ that heavily pushes the scale to UNC for both and you save about $20K which these days is no small matter.

You will no problem getting into ANY top grad or professional school coming out of UNC as long as you have the grades, test scores and requisite ECs in the event you are considering Med school.

Use the search function, this question has been asked at least 3 times in the last few weeks and probably 20-30 times in the last year.
