"undecided" major vs. decided?

I wanted to apply for Economics, although I’m not 100% sure if I really want to study econ.

It just came across my mind that if I apply ‘undecided,’ would that make any difference? I mean, as in a disadvantage?

I want to know apprx. what % of the applicants apply as undecided, except for the PLME ppl.

I’m scared that they might think that I am not so serious and don’t have an idea about what I wanna do with my life(I know this is extreme)…

One of my ECs is the interent business that I run, and I thought that applying for Econ would make sense. however, I can’t decide between my English teacher and AP Econ teacher for the recommendation letter, so now I’m thinking of sending 3 letters.

Is anyone else here ‘undecided’ ? Would it be ok for me to do so??

I think I’m just freeeeaking out…

HELP!!!

It really doesnt matter what you put down as your major unless you have committed a great deal of time and effort to a particular subject, such as research or something, then it will help you since it shows your committment to that area.

Just put down Economics if its what you want to do now. Its no biggie.
