Hello, I am applying ED to the School of Education and Social Policy. Is there a disadvantage to selecting "undecided education and social policy major" rather than Social Policy or Learning and Organizational Change. Will I still be considered for the college as a whole, and should I be accepted randomly assigned a major? How exactly does that work?

Thought I knew the answer, but it turns out SESP is a little different from Weinberg, so I’m glad I checked the website before responding. What Weinberg calls a major, SESP calls a concentration. SESP use your concentration to connect you with an advisor, so they want you in one as soon as possible. You can be admitted as undecided, but you have to decide before the end of orientation. They add that should you want to change, it’s not difficult.

Best of luck to you!

Thanks, I really appreciate your insight!
