Hi! I’m currently at a community college looking to transfer as an accounting major. I’m deciding between CSUF and CSULB. I like fullerton because of the accreditation, but the downside is that is most likely be working in the Orange County area and Id much rather a career in the LA area. I heard big4 recruits heavily from Long Beach for the LA area. Thoughts?
Big 4 have large needs in entry level accountants all over USA because they have high turnovers and their offices cover all 50 states. They will recruit in ALL AACSB accredited schools and will consider their qualified graduates first priority. CSUF is an AACSB accredited school but CSULB is not.
A newly hired recruit normally has a choice of locations, especially in the S. Cal area, you could choose from SD, Orange or LA.
