Hey guys, I'm looking for some advice on which school to pick. I'm looking to hopefully get into I-banking/finance and am considering my options. I was admitted to UCBerkeley where I would apply to the Haas school for junior year and to the University of Michigan, where I would apply to the Ross school for sophomore year. I was also given a guaranteed transfer at Cornell, meaning I could transfer to Cornell sophomore year. I'd love any tips/thoughts that anyone from these schools or in the field could share!

Obviously they are all great schools and there is no easy answer to this one. I would first do some research to see how many people are able to transfer in to Haas or Ross as internal transfers --ex:what type of GPA and activities do you need to have to get in? what % of people who apply get in? This can be very competitive at some schools --I have a friend whose son went to UM and did not make it into Ross. And for Cornell (are you guaranteed admission into the b-school there?), it is my understanding that you need a 3.0 to be assured they will take you as a sophomore so if that turns out to be your first choice you need to go to a school where you know you can get that average. Although imperfect, you have great choices. Good luck.

if you are guaranteed to transfer into Cornell business, I would go there personally.
