I am currently an undecided business major at Virginia Tech and I am considering applying to law school after my four years here. I have a few questions. I am open to changing departments and/or major, whether that be to philosophy or political science or whatever, but i was wondering is having a business degree good for applying to law school? I know that there is no "pre-law" requisite, but i was wondering if i should stay in business at all? Would i be better off with a major that is more geared towards writing and speaking skills? If i do stay in business, which business major would be most beneficial? I understand that i should pick a degree that will allow me to get a high GPA but I also want to have a backup plan in case i do not get into a good law school, or any for that matter. I initially decided i would get a degree in business and decide whether to continue on to business grad school or try to go to law school. Recently my interest in law school has risen. I appreciate any responses.
