<p>I have got admission offer at HKUST ( in Engg) and also at University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), USA (in Comp Sc Engg) for Fall 2014. UTA is also offering a tuition fee scholarship of 75%. I am confused as to which offer is better in overall terms i.e quality of education, cost of attendance, career prospects etc. Please advise. I shall be grateful. Thanx.</p>

<p>Cost of attendance you should be able to figure out using published numbers and deducting any financial aid or scholarships.

<p>Career prospects depends on where you want to work. Texas employers probably recruit more at UT Arlington. But internationally, HKUST has a top end reputation for engineering that UT Arlington does not have (of the UT schools, UT Austin is the one with the high reputation).</p>
